After PARIVISION defeated TYLOO at FISSURE Playground 3 in Suzhou, MN spoke with Ivan zweih Gogin about avenging their loss at a previous event in China, the team’s current form, and the perception that PARIVISION has declined. The player also rated his own level and the team’s form, ranked his teammates by vibe, discussed the most expensive purchase he made with esports earnings, and reflected on winning IEM Cologne 2025.
How do you like the tournament and the city? How many times have you been to China?
This is my fifth or sixth time in China, I think. If Hong Kong counts, then it is the sixth. It is very humid here, which is probably the only downside of the country. Otherwise, it is a great city. I like it here and I like the tournament. The internet is bad, though — absolutely terrible. Everything else is fine.

TYLOO crushed you at the previous Chinese event, while this time you won convincingly. What has changed since then, apart from the roster moves?
First of all, the map. We played Mirage against them back then, which was their first pick. This time, on their other first pick, Inferno, it was also a close battle. We could easily have lost if we had not won a couple of clutch rounds. On Ancient, I think the result would have been the same four months ago.

PARIVISION were regarded as one of the favorites at the start of the year, but now people tend to view the team as more of a middle-of-the-pack side. Do you feel there has been a decline?
At the start of the year, I never felt that we arrived at tournaments as favorites. Our ranking number was simply higher, and now it is a little lower. But I rate our strength at roughly the same level as four months ago. Back then, we regularly played and beat strong teams. Over the past three or four months, we have had only one match against a stable tier-one team — against MOUZ at EWC. I think we feel better against tier-one teams than against teams like Legacy or NRG, who are also considered tier one but can still lose to completely random opponents. So I cannot say that we are going through some major slump.
