During the Esports World Cup 2025, MN spoke with Falcons coach Danny zonic Sørensen about the goals he has left in his career, his desire to help NiKo win a Major, his contract situation, and the strongest players he has had the opportunity to coach.

You are the most decorated coach in Counter-Strike history. What goals do you have for the rest of your career?

I would love to win another Major with a third different team.
It would also be lovely to be part of NiKo’s journey and help him win a Major. That is a personal goal of mine.
But I have also been in this game for many years, and my children are getting older.
So this is definitely not something I am planning to continue doing for many more years.

There have recently been reports that your contract expires this year. Will it be renewed?

I cannot comment on anything related to contracts.

Name the three best players you have coached over the past ten years.

It is difficult for me to name only three. I think that would be disrespectful to all the players I have worked with.
If you look at some of the more decorated players, there are device, dupreeh in his prime, and ZywOo.
I also had s1mple for a short period. Of course, it was not the s1mple we had known before because he was coming back from such a long break, but it was still an honor to work with him.
Now I have NiKo, Ilya, and also the young Maksim, who is going to have a very bright future ahead of him.
You also have to include apEX, Xyp9x, Spinx, and many of the other players I have coached throughout my career.
