After Nuclear TigeRES defeated K27 in the third-place match at WINLINE MPKBK CIS LAN Season 5, z1k4 reflected on the team’s performance, discussed their motivation at a home event and their goals for next season, and shared his thoughts on Cache.

Hi! Congratulations on winning the third-place match. The series against K27 looked like a fairly comfortable win for you, especially on the second map, although you did run into some difficulties in the second half.
What did you make of the match?

Hi. The match was fairly easy because it did not really decide much—only third or fourth place. Maybe both teams approached it a little more casually. But a win is a win.
As for the second half of the second map, I had simply run out of energy by then. We had been playing since noon, so things became a little shaky.

How would you assess the tournament for the team overall? Am I right in thinking this is your final event of the season and that you will go on break afterward?

No, this is not our final tournament. We still have two online events to play, and then we will go on break.

In that case, how would you assess the team’s performance at this event and the LAN overall?

Satisfactory, I would say. But of course, we wanted to win. We did not play our own game in the semifinal. Apart from that, the tournament went well. I hope ARCRED win.

You played very well at this tournament, finishing with a 1.26 rating and serving as one of the team’s main driving forces throughout the event. I take it you came into the tournament highly motivated. It was important for you to achieve a strong result, and you personally delivered an excellent performance.
