Vitality defeated NAVI 3–0 in the BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 grand final and won the event without dropping a single map. After the final, kyotostxr spoke with team coach Rémy XTQZZZ Quoniam about the relationships within the roster, the balance of roles, and Vitality’s next major goal.

You have coached great teams before, but does this Vitality lineup feel different even from the inside? If so, what makes it special?

Yes. First, I think it is the relationship between the in-game leader, the coach, and the rest of the staff.
Second, we have perfect roles on both the T and CT sides. It is easy to say, but we have a really good balance.
It is something you have to work on day by day to make sure everyone feels comfortable on both the T and CT sides.

What is next for Vitality when the team is in such incredible form?

Next is the Grand Slam. That is our main goal right now.
We took a break before coming here. During the tournament, we wanted to see what we still needed to improve, but in the end we won without dropping a map. In a way, that was something we expected.
Now we will have two or three days of rest and then focus on the Grand Slam. That is the main goal.
