MOUZ defeated magic 2–0 in the third-place match at PGL Astana 2026, ending the revamped roster’s debut event with a bronze-medal finish. After the match, CS2NEWS spoke with Adrian xelex Vincze about his unexpectedly early promotion from MOUZ NXT, his first experience on a large arena stage, preparing for the Major, and the team’s plans after the tournament.

You have just won the third-place match at PGL Astana. You were called up from the academy to the main roster. How has this experience shaped you? Do you feel that you gained a lot of positive experience from it, and was it a shock to learn that you would be playing with the main team?

I was expecting it, but not this early. I thought that after the summer I might get promoted, but it happened a little earlier.
Overall, I am obviously very happy that I got to experience this arena and finish third at my first event. Only Falcons and Spirit finished ahead of us, so I am very happy with our performance.

You played this event with jL, but Brollan will return for the Major. How can the team prepare for that player change? In the short term, it could be a fairly significant adjustment.

I am not sure yet how we will handle it. We will probably have some time to prepare and will try to get in as much practice as possible before the Major.
After that, we will simply try to do our best.

How do you find Astana as a city? Do you feel that it has a special atmosphere?

I really like it. I think it is a very beautiful city. I like the people and the fans—they are all very, very nice.
It is my first time here, and it will be a very nice memory to have. I really like the whole country, the city, and the people.
