MOUZ lost 1–2 to Falcons in the IEM Chengdu 2025 third-place decider and finished the tournament in fourth place. After the match, kayo spoke with Lotan Spinx Giladi about the team’s repeated deep playoff runs, their lack of trophies, preparation for the upcoming Major, and MOUZ’s confidence in their ability to make a breakthrough.

You finished in fourth place. MOUZ have now reached the playoffs around twelve times, but once again you were unable to secure a trophy. Falcons received a great deal of support from the Chinese crowd. Could that have played a significant role in their victory?

I do not think our loss was connected to the Chinese crowd supporting Falcons.
We keep making deep playoff runs, tournament after tournament. Of course, it is difficult to reach the later stages alongside the other strong teams while still not having a trophy or the momentum boost that comes with winning one.
It is hard, but it is part of the job. We will go back home now, reset, and fully focus on the Major.

What exactly will your preparation for the Major look like? Jimpphat said that the team is going to a bootcamp. Are you planning anything special to finally secure a victory?

Yes, we are going to a bootcamp so that we can focus fully on the game.
We will also do some other things, including team building, and make sure that everything is moving at the right pace for the Major.
We will see how it goes.

There have been examples of strong teams failing to win trophies for a long time and eventually changing their rosters. Spirit, for example, made a reshuffle and replaced two players. Could MOUZ face the same fate?
