MOUZ defeated Eternal Fire 2–0 in the BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 semifinals and advanced to their third consecutive grand final. After the match, kyotostxr spoke with Lotan Spinx Giladi about the team’s current level, the atmosphere within the roster, the state of CS2 and FACEIT, the support of the Portuguese crowd, and his expectations for the tournament’s deciding match.

Congratulations on the win! Are we seeing the best version of MOUZ right now?

No. It may sound like a cliché answer, but there is always room for improvement.
On some maps, we can do better, and I can also perform better individually.
We are definitely good and are showing a strong version of MOUZ right now, but I still believe that we can be even better.

Spinx

What do you think about the atmosphere in the team? MOUZ players often describe it as one of the closest and friendliest rosters in tier one.

The atmosphere is pretty good. We are having fun.
The guys are really young players who simply enjoy playing Counter-Strike and getting better and better.
So right now, the atmosphere is great.

Do you know of any serious problems or bugs in CS2, or has the game become perfect compared with CS:GO?

I do not think the game is perfect. There are still some things that could be improved.
I do not know whether they should be called bugs, but there is still room for improvement.
At the same time, CS2 is getting better and better.
CS:GO was almost perfect in our eyes because we all loved the game, but CS2 is continuing to improve as well.

Spinx

What exactly would you improve in CS2? What is the most annoying issue right now?

I still think that shadows are a little overpowered on some maps.
Of course, there should be shadows, but in my opinion they are simply too strong in certain positions.
I think that is something they could improve.

No matter who you face in tomorrow’s final, it is going to be difficult. How would you assess MOUZ’s chances of winning the tournament?

I think our chances are pretty good. We are playing really well right now.
This is our third grand final in a row, and we won one of the previous two.
We are playing well in front of the arena crowd, and we are calm and confident.
Of course, it will not be an easy game regardless of who we face, but I am sure that we will give our one hundred percent.

Spinx

Do you feel support from the crowd in Lisbon?

Yeah, of course. I love the crowd in Lisbon.
The last time I was here, I really enjoyed it as well—not only inside the arena, but also walking around the city.
It feels really nice here. I like the place.
I wish more tournaments were held here.

Spinx

What promise to yourself would you definitely like to keep over the next year?

To stay the guy I am.
I think I am just a happy guy, and I want to keep it that way.
