Falcons defeated MOUZ 2–1 in the IEM Chengdu 2025 third-place decider. After the tournament, kayo spoke with Nikola NiKo Kovač about the team’s mixed result, his own form, and whether the upcoming Major could affect the roster’s future.
How would you rate Falcons’ performance at this tournament?
Overall, I think we played pretty well, apart from the game against FURIA, which was obviously the most important one.

It is difficult to measure the event clearly. We beat good teams: Spirit, and then MOUZ in the third-place match.
But the feelings are still mixed. We are not satisfied with this result. We want to do better and fight for titles.
What about your own performance?
My event was mixed as well. I felt that I was okay: I was not bad, but I was not really good either.

I definitely know that I can do better than what I showed here.
Will a possible roster reshuffle depend on Falcons’ result at the Major?
No. There will be no roster change for us, no matter how we perform at the Major.
