FURIA defeated Falcons 3–1 in the BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2 grand final to claim the title in Hong Kong. After the match, kyotostxr spoke with team captain Gabriel FalleN Toledo about FURIA’s place among the world’s best teams, sidde’s role, balancing esports with his family business, and the possibility of retirement.
Congratulations on the win! Do you feel that FURIA are the best team in the world right now?
I think we have definitely been one of the best teams for quite a while now. We have been playing extremely well at the last few tournaments.

But the conversation about who is the best does not really matter to me. We have to respect Vitality because what they have done this year is impressive.
We are definitely up there and ready to try to take their throne, but I think they are still there.
What has actually worked for FURIA? Which strengths have allowed the team to rise to the top?
We found more firepower with the new players who joined, as well as new ideas. I also changed my role to become more sacrificial and play more for the team.

We have many strong points in the team right now. KSCERATO and yuurih have returned to their top level.
The staff is great as well. We have a great coach, a great analyst helping us, and the organization is top-notch. We have everything going our way.
You have had a long career, while sidde is a young coach. What makes him special?
sidde is very good at managing the team, both inside and outside the server.
He is responsible for the pistol rounds we play and takes responsibility for every match, trying to understand the mind games, what we should do, and what our opponents are used to doing.
