9z opened FISSURE Playground 3 in Suzhou with a convincing 2:0 victory over 5star. After the match, AndU spoke with the team’s coach Bruno BIT Lima about their preparation for the event, the roster’s current form, a possible meeting with MIBR, and the most memorable moments of his career and also touched on tomaszin.
How did you get to Suzhou? Where were you before this, and did you have a bootcamp?
Yes, we played BLAST in Copenhagen. After we were eliminated from BLAST, we spent a couple of days in the tournament practice area and then moved to the Saxo bootcamp, which is very close to Copenhagen, around a 40-minute drive away in another small town. It was a great place as well. We spent around four days at that bootcamp and then flew to Suzhou. The trip was not as long as when we travel from Brazil or Argentina, so everything went well.

Do you like Suzhou?
On the first day, we went to a shopping mall. Yes, it is very beautiful here. Every time we come to China, it feels the same - we like it here.

How did the match against 5star go?
It went pretty well for us. I think we prepared very well and knew a lot of what they were trying to do, so we played a good match. Individually, we also looked very sharp. We won a lot of rounds, especially thanks to max, who won many clutches on the CT side of Nuke, and that was a key factor. It is great to see the players performing strongly individually, and as a team we also played well.

Who would you rather face: The MongolZ or MIBR?
